In Japanese the word for human is Saru but you must be careful when saying it as it sounds quite similar to the Japanese word Sara, meaning carrot.

I enjoy the contrast of these to photos, to me it represents the contrast between carrots and humans

What would happen if i was in the supermarket and asked to purchase a 5lb bag of Saru?

Hito means person and ningen means human.

Is the eerie street a root vegetable or a human organism? I can't figure it out.

A 5lb bag of Saru...well maybe you should go watch Hannibal 4; they are making that. I just learned...

oh right monkey, well what does ninjin mean?

Yes originally i would have suggested that you go by the name Sara as it is easily pronounced and spelled in Japanese, but upon this enlightening information ...

though maybe the host families of Japan will see it as a sign of good luck to have a girl named carrot on their root vegatable farm

人間(ningen) means human.
人参(ninjin) means corrot.
お皿 (o-sara) is a dish or plate,
and 猿 (saru) is monkey.

What fun!

korekara watashi wa o-sara o arau.
